In the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a precious little miracle in the shape of a baby.
After your newborn baby arrives, time becomes fleeting. Precious moments with your tiny baby whiz past in a haze of new baby love, the sweetest of newborn kisses, late night feeds and endless cuddles. Each moment with your tiny baby is so precious because in just a few short weeks, those moments are gone. Your newborn baby with their perfect tiny features, sweet downy hair and chubby little cheeks, is little for such a short time. I’m a Mumma too, so I understand how precious those first few weeks are and how important it is to remember every tiny little detail of your new baby.

When To Book Your Session
Most expecting Mummas book their newborn photography in their second trimester. This gives you time to plan ahead and ensures you don’t miss out on newborn photography as sessions in my Sydney studio are limited.
Once your baby arrives send me an email and we’ll confirm the date for your baby’s newborn photos.

About Your Newborn Session
All newborn photography sessions are in my comfortable and friendly home studio in Appin, southwest of Sydney. Most newborn sessions last approximately 2-3 hours, depending on how settled your baby is.

The Best Age For Newborn Photography
Newborn photography is about your baby’s precious smallness, capturing their tiny features and squishy perfection. As your newborn is growing all the time, the perfect time for newborn photography is in the first two weeks of your baby’s arrival. Your newborn bubby is sleepiest during these early days making it easier to pose your baby in all those cute and curly positions.
However, I know how busy life can get with a newborn so if you’ve missed the two-week window, please don’t worry. I’ve photographed older babies and captured beautiful photographs for Mums and Dads to cherish.
